Cooker Paneer Butter Masala

Paneer Butter masala is an all time favourite for most of us out there, isn’t it?

It was once a common food item in almost all wedding receptions!

RECIPE CREDITS : Sriprasanna Madan for little variation.

250 grams paneer cut into pieces

2 onions chopped

3 tomatoes

1/2 tsp garam masala

1 tsp kasmiri chilli powder

1/2 tsp sugar

1 tsp salt

2 tsp ginger garlic paste

1/4 cup butter

3 tsp water.

METHOD

Mix cubed paneer after soaking with garam masala, chilli powder, sugar and salt. In a 2 litre pressure cooker add 3 tsp water and butter. Layer  finely chopped onions, ginger garlic paste and tomatoes which are scooped out in the middle in the mentioned order. Add the marinated paneer . Cook on high for 3 whistles. Release pressure manually. Carefully remove paneer pieces and blend the remaining into a smooth paste  . Then add the paneer back to the blended paste. Add chopped coriander leaves and serve this with naan or roti!
